What If I Forget My Password?

How Do I update my Credit Card Expiry Date on your system so I dont stop service when my credit card expires?

Click on the User Profile menu button and make sure your credit card expiry date is current. If it is going to expiry then click on the checkbox to update the expiry date, enter the new expiry date and click on the Update Subscriptions button which will update your subscription(s) with the new credit card information. Click on the Submit Request button on this screen to save other information on this UserProfile screen.

 

 

What if I want to change credit cards after I have already set up services with another credit card?

If you want to change credit cards, then you will have to cancel the existing subscription(s) following the instructions in the "How Do I cancel a subscription for one of my Domains" section below. After your domain subscription(s) have been cancelled then the credit card information on the UserProfile screen will become enabled. Enter your new credit card information and click on the Submit Request button. Then you will have to restart your subscription(s) following steps in the "How To I add a new Domain to Your Search Engines and get the free Directory Link Page into your Directories" section below.

 

 

How Do I add a new Domain to Your Search Engines and get the free Directory Link Page into your Directories?

To add a new domain (or restart an existing inactive domain) under your organization name to our search engines and Directory Link Pages, click on the Site Advertising menu button and click on the Add Site Markting Domain button at the top of that screen. Enter the information in the SignUpNewDomain screen for the domain you want to add to all our Search Engines. Choose a monthly or yearly billing plan and Click on the Save and Continue button. You will see on the screen when your first payment will start for this domain you are adding. After clicking on the confirm payment to start or restart a subscription) on this screen you will receive an email showing the date of the first payment and a subscription id to track that subscription payment.

 

 

How Do I Turn On and Off the Free Monthly Email on Advice and Tips for Search Engine Rankings?

Once you have at least one active domain you will receive free Search Engine Ranking advice from us once a month. If you do not want to receive those monthly newsletters you can stop the emails anytime in the UserProfile screen checking the check box called "Check the box to right to stop receiving our free monthly email on how to improve your search rankings". Unchecking this same checkbox will allow you to receive the monthly email advice again.

 

 

How Do I set up the content for my free Directory Link Page?

After adding a new domain in the "How To I add a new Domain to Your Search Engines and get the free Directory Link Page into your Directories" step above, it will show up in the grid when you click on the Site Advertising menu button.   Click on the row in the grid with the domain name you want to edit and you will be take to the Site Marketing Profile screen for you to complete the following  pieces of information:

DO THE FOLLOWING STEPS IN TAB 1

1) Enter a title for your Directory Link Page. This is up to 100 characters that should contain your Business or Organizations name as well as keywords of what your domain is all about.

2) Enter your Ad Caption (up to 100 characters) that will show up in the Results page of all people finding your site on our search sites. You can change the Ad Caption daily if you want. Do not add punctuation but words that will help drive more business for yourself or get more people to your web site.

3) You are given free of charge a Directory Link Page off the directory button off our home page.  This Directory Link Page also called a Web Full Page Ad, lets you advetise your company and even your products and services! The name of your Directory link page is the name of your domain (without the periods) with an .htm extension. So if the new domain you was www.yoursite.com, then your Directory Link Page would be called wwwyoursitecom.htm. You can see your Directory Llink Page by clicking on the Tab 4 AFTER YOU SAVE YOUR CHANGES on this screen.

4)  Select your main keywords/phrase for your web site that makes you unique.  Enter this in the SiteAdvertisingProfile screen where the l4bel says "KeyWords".  Your Keywords are entered on your Full Page Ad in the TITLE meta tag and also the body section of your Ad.  Your keywords are hyperlinked to your home page.  These keywords that you enter in your own private internet account we give you, are what search engines use when people do searches on theses major search engine sites such as Google/Yahoo/Bing and other search sites.  

5) Enter up to 500 characters for an executive summary for your Directory Link Page. This should be an overview of your organization as well the key services and benefits you are offering.

 

Click on the Save Ad button and you will see at the top of your screen that your information was saved to the database and your directory link pages will be added to ALL of our search site directories in the next 1-2 days. To preview your Directory Link Page, click on Tab 4 description at the top of this screen. It will open up a new internet window for previewing your changes.

DO THE FOLLOWING STEPS IN TAB 2

Tab 2 is optional. If you dont want to add a logo to your Directory link page skip to the Tab 3 steps below. If you do want to add a logo (and have a logo on your home page), check the 'SHOW LOGO on Link Page' check box. You have 2 choices to add images: Upload your PC or Mac check the "Use File Location.." checkbox or if you know how to reference image sources on your wen site then check the "Use Web Location.." checkbox. We will start explaining the Upload option first since most are more familiar with that. File Upload: After you clicked on the "Use File Location.." checkbox your display text boxes are rearranged to show different button choices. Click on the Browse button and navigate to an image you want to show first such as your corp logo. Please choose a jpeg, jpg, gif or png extension named image file that is under 2 MB in size. Most web images should be under .2 MB (or 200,000 KB) in size for performance reasons. After selecting the file, click on the Upload Button right beside the Browse button you just clicked on and a message will be shown on the success of the upload. If you what to do the same for the second image, check the Product Checkbox, check the "Use File Location.." checkbox and repeat the same steps.

 

Click on Tab 4 to preview your image as we dont change the size of your images. If you want them smaller or bigger then you will need to resize the images on your PC or MAC and then re-upload them as uploading an exact filename again just writes over the previous image file. make sure you fill in "Your URL For Image Click" text box below the file name as that will navigate the web surfer to any web page on your web site. Your keywords are linked to your home page so it is wise to pick different web pages for your pictures. Open up a new web browser tab, go to your web site, go to your "Aboutus" page, or your landing page or your product page or your benefit page, click on the top URL address at the top of your browser and copy it. Copy it by highlighting and clicking your keyboard Control Button and holding it down while hitting the c keyboard character. (Faster way to copy). Then go back to the your web advertising tab for "Your URL For Image Click" text box, click your mouse on the text box and clicking your keyboard Control Button and holding it down while hitting the v keyboard character. (Faster way to paste). Do this for both text boxes to take the web surfers to different locations on your web site.

 

You can go to Tab 3 now unless you are a web techy wanted to try to use an image off your web site shown in the paragraph below.
If you are a web techy then you could choose the "Use Web Location.." checkbox. Click on the Open up your home page  in a separate internet browser, right click your mouse on your home page, and click on the view source menu option. Look at the html code of where you are referencing your logo as it usually is in an images folder with html code something like ....IMG scr= \images\logo.jpg... In the image location edit box on this Site Advertising Profile screen, enter something like: http:// www.yoursite.com/images/logo.jpg, where www.yoursite.com is the domain name.  'Your Site URL For Logo Image Click' means you can take web surfers to an AboutUs.htm or ContactUs.htm page on your site if you want.  Enter the full URL path for this field starting with http://.  Do these same steps for a second image such as a product image. If all your code for images for your web site have been moved off into CSS files, then you will have to do the Upload method described above.

At the bottom of Tab 2 is an optional video dropdown choice that you can add either Vimeo, Youtube or a MP4 file video. MP4 file videos are displayed as a link that open up a new page when the web surfer clicks on them. Vimeo, Youtube videos can be embedded in your web full page ad, if in your web account settings for that video that you uploaded, you check the check box that allows the video to be embedded. For example, if you created a free Business YouTube account and uploaded your business video to your YouTube account, when you login into your YouTube account and click on the "Video Manager" YouTube icon, you will see your list of YouTube videos you have uploaded. Click on the edit option below the video you want to use a you will see 3 tab-like links above the video on your YouTube account. Click on the second link and you will see options that either allow or disallow that video to be embedded. Make sure you choose the embed option and then click on the Save button. Copy the URL for that video and go back into your Free Web Full Page Ad account and paste in the text box at the bottom for the URL video link.

DO THE FOLLOWING STEPS IN TAB 3

Tab 3 is optional. If you have any of the social media accounts listed in this tab then check the check box and paste in the URL. To get your URL, open up another tab in your web browser, enter www.google.com and do a search for your account such as entering your name or company and then the word FACEBOOK if your have a facebook account. When you find it in the Google search, click on it and it will go to your account in your web browser. The web address is at the top in your web browser and that is called a URL so copy it and paste it into the field for Tab 2. Note: FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIN, GooglePlus etc can also have business pages besides your own personal page.

Up to 10 icons are displayed at the bottom of your full page.  The first 3 are automatically placed on your full page ad which are a link to your Google listing, your Yahoo listing and your Bing Listing.  There are 7 optional icons that can be added.  If you have a FaceBook, Twitter, or YouTube account that you want to add the links for on your full page ad then check those check boxes and add the URL to link to them.  If you dont know the URL, open up Google and enter FaceBook and your Facebook username and copy and paste that URL into the FaceBook text box called "Your FaceBook URL Link in Google".  Do the same if you have a Twitter or YouTube account that shows the information you want.  If you have a WordPress Blog site, then check the WordPress icon checkbox and add the URL of your blog siteand the same for Google Plus, Pinterest and LinkedIn if you have set up accounts to link to.

VIEW YOUR AD CHANGES IN TAB 4

This tab is automatically updated when you click on it which shows your ad so go back to tab 1 or tab 2, or tab 3, make changes, then click on tab 4 again to view your changes. All changes are saved when you click on this tab 4.

 

How Do I Submit My Site To Your Search Engines?

Click on the Site Advertising menu button. Click on the row (domain) in the grid you want to submit your site on. This will take you to the Site Marketing Profile screen. At the bottom of your screen is a Submit Site button. Click on that button and you will be notifed that your site will submitted to all our search engines. You only need to submit your site if you have made changes to your site as our crawler will be crawling it 1-2 times per month.

 

 

How Do I cancel a subscription for one of my Domains?

If you have to cancel the service for one domain then first click on the Site Advertising menu button. Click on the row (domain) in the grid you want to cancel service on. This will take you to the Site Marketing Profile screen. At the bottom of your screen is a Cancel Subscription button which will be enabled for all credit card payments. Clicking on this Cancel Subscription button will stop credit card payments on this domain and will make it inactive. If you cancel subscription on a domain by mistake, you always can restart service on it by following step 5 above.

 

How come you block certain domains as well as domains with a question mark in them?

Domains added to our search engine sites are for businesses and non-profit organizations. We ask that you add your home page domain which is in the format of www.yoursite.com. Question marks are used to go to subpages or searches and we will only land web surfers onto your home page. It is up to you to have an attractive home page that will show your features and benefits clearly to help bring in more business for you.

 

Do you allow special characters in the Directory Link Pages?

No. When editing your Ad Caption, Title page and Executive summary in the Site Advertising Profile screen use text only.  Special characters are not used since this page is dynmically built.


How come I go to the Sign Up New Domain Screen when I click on a domain grid row in the Site Advertisng Browse screen?

If you look at the status of the domain you will see that the domain is Inactive which means payment has been stopped on that domain.   You cannot edit your Ad Caption or Directory Link Page information when the account is inactive.  Inactive domains are removed from the business directories but can be readded again simily by restarting payment on the domain.  So if you are taken to the Sign Up New Domain screen, then it is a chance for you to restart that domain to make it active again and let it be found in all our business directories. 

 

What if my logo disappears on my Directory Link Page when it used to appear when I set it up?

If you added a logo to your Directory Home Page (in the SiteAdvertisingProfile screen on our system), then you had to specify a location on your web site where your logo resides such as www.yourwebsite.com/images/CorpLogo1.jpg. What sometimes happens is your web designer can update the name or location of your logo on your web site based on your decision. If your web designer changed your logo to a new logo image name file of CorpLogo2.jpg, then you need to go into our system and change the logo image location to www.yourwebsite.com/images/CorpLogo2.jpg in our SiteAdvertisingProfile screen since the name file: www.yourwebsite.com/images/CorpLogo1.jpg, is no longer applicable.
